Welcome to The Clean Scene LLC (“we,” “our,” or “us”). By booking services through our website or engaging with our cleaning professionals, you (“Client”) agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read carefully.
1. SERVICES OFFERED
We provide residential and commercial cleaning services through independent contractors. Services may include but are not limited to general cleaning, deep cleaning, and recurring cleaning packages. All services are performed according to the scope listed on our website or booking form.
2. SCHEDULING & PAYMENT
Clients can book one-time or recurring cleaning services through our Booking Koala platform. A valid payment method is required to secure the appointment; cards are stored securely and charged after the service is completed. Payments are processed securely through Stripe, our third-party payment provider. The Clean Scene LLC is not responsible for technical issues, errors, or delays caused by Stripe or other payment processors. Clients remain responsible for payment for all services rendered.
We offer weekly, biweekly, and monthly recurring plans
Recurring clients are charged automatically according to their selected plan.
Appointments are not confirmed until a valid payment method is provided and a booking confirmation email is sent. If a payment is declined or fails, we reserve the right to suspend or cancel pending or future appointments until payment is successfully collected.
3. RESCHEDULING & CANCELLATION
One-Time Services: Must be rescheduled no later than 6 PM the day before your appointment or canceled at least 24 hours in advance to avoid a fee. Same-day cancellations or no-shows will result in 75% of the full amount being forfeited.
Recurring Clients: You may pause, cancel, or modify your plan with at least 48 hours’ notice via email or through our contact form on the website.
4. CLEANING EXCLUSIONS
For the safety and efficiency of our cleaners, we do not provide:
Mold remediation
Hazardous waste cleanup
Heavy lifting
Pet waste removal
Insect/rodent infestation cleaning
5. SATISFACTION GUARANTEE
If you’re unsatisfied with any aspect of your service, contact us within 24 hours. We’ll send a cleaner to readdress the issue at no additional cost. No refunds will be issued.
6. DAMAGE & LIABILITY
Cleaners take great care in your home, but accidental damage can occur. Please report any issues within 24 hours.
7. CONTRACTOR STATUS
All cleaners are independent contractors, not employees of The Clean Scene LLC. We vet contractors for quality, background, and reliability but are not liable for their personal conduct outside the scope of agreed services.
8. RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE
We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service at our discretion, including unsafe environments or harassment of cleaners.
9. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All content on our site — including text, images, branding, and service descriptions — is the property of The Clean Scene LLC and may not be copied or reused without permission.
10. GOVERNING LAW
These terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey. Any disputes will be resolved in the appropriate courts of Passaic County, NJ.
